TurboTax Deluxe Online

Double check your address in the personal info section. If that is correct, look to be sure you did not select that you lived in another state and chose CA.

In the beginning of the CA questions, it tells you which residency status has been selected and gives you a chance to change it. There you can change it to a Full Year Resident.

This is not about being a US Citizen, the NR means you lived in another state which means there is probably an issue with your address or something you selected in the personal info section or beginning of your CA return.
