Hometown Heroes act i was told the age limit dropped to 50 but its not updated in the software. Has the law passed for age limit of 50 or is still 55

    If you are referring the MD Hometown Heroes Act, the age requirement is still 55 or older for the up to $15,000 deduction from taxable income for retirement benefits received by "retired correctional officer, law enforcement officer, or fire, rescue, or emergency services personnel of the United States, Maryland, or a political subdivision of Maryland."
