How to change beginning date living in state?

Here is how to edit your dates of state residency:

Log in and select Pick up where I left off.
Select State from the menu on the left side.
Click Your State Returns toward the top center.
Click Continue or Edit to the right next to the state's name.
Continue from the first screen.
Select Change Residency on the next screen.
Select the type of return you need, resident, non-resident or part year resident.
On the next screen, you will see the dates of residency and you can change them as needed.
