Question

How can I fix my New York State return? It is claiming that I have claimed a refund for solar/wind equipment but I've made sure to leave all of that blank.

I've never purchased or carried over any form of credit for energy efficient equipment nor have I filled out a form for these things. How can I e-file or by pass this issue?

We can't see your return or account in this forum. You can check your Federal entries under Credits, My Home, Energy-Efficient equipment to see if there's any entries there. Those entries would transfer to the state return for applicable credits. Otherwise, you'll need to review your state return.
