How can I record that I got a refund from CA but made a payment to NJ with last year's taxes?
The system seems to allow me to say that I did both things (got a refund and made a payment), but only from one state.
Figured it out! I have to specifically enter that I paid $0 to California in addition to entering the amount I paid to NJ
