How can I send W-2s for PA taxes if I e-file the taxes? Or do I have to send the taxes by mail along with the W-2?

If you e-file your tax returns, federal and state, the tax data from the W-2 is sent electronically along with your tax returns. There is nothing you need to mail to the IRS or your State after e-filing the tax returns.

If for some reason you are mailing the tax returns, then you have to include a copy of the W-2 with the tax return being mailed.

I and my husband live in PA, but he worked in NJ and his employer did not withhold taxes from PA but from NJ. When we fill out the PA taxes together turbo tax says that due to a special situation the W-2s must be sent. The photos below show the reason.
