You did not include my spouse's contributions for 2023.  We are filing a joint return.

When you say your spouse's contributions were not included, for state taxes, do you mean that your spouse's state taxes paid weren't included on your joint return?

If your spouse paid state taxes directly to the state, you would report them on the Federal return under Deductions and Credits, Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. The taxes paid that are reported on the Federal return will carry over to the State return.

When you are finished preparing your state return, you can preview your return before filing to find out how your taxes were calculated. See here for details.
