Take a look at the following TurboTax article for instructions to amend your state return without amending your Federal return:

I need to amend my state return

Before amending the SC return, be sure that the amount entered in line 1e truly does need to be left blank.  In general, items that are added to your SC income represent things that are treated differently by SC than the Federal return.  For example, SC does not comply with the Federal change due to the American Rescue Plan that made up to $10,200 of unemployment compensation not taxable on the Federal return.  Therefore, the $10,200 may be added to your state return on line 1e.

TurboTax is programmed to automatically add these items back to your state return that are treated differently, so be cautious about removing them.
