How do I correct the state filing year to calendar year? California - Nonfiscal year

Trying to e-file from our Turbotax desktop deluxe version to personal taxes for Fed+California.

 

During an error review on my state return, the program states cannot efile due to California non-fiscal. 

 

I believe this was because of an old K1 that was there and I deleted that from the question area of the Fed and State forms, but still the error of nonfiscal year continues.

 

How to I revert this back to calendar?

    If you are still experiencing this issue, try going to the Forms View in your program.

    1. Click on Forms in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
    2. Scroll down the left side of your screen, to California Individual and open Form 540.
    3. At the top of Form 540 you will see a box on the left corner, APE.
    4. If there is anything entered there, remove it so that the box is blank. 

    That should revert your return to calendar year.  See the screenshot below. @montreid
