I have been trying to file my California taxes and it keeps getting rejected because of a negative value on the 540 schedule D. What do I have to do to fix this?

As it turns out it was Turbo Taxes fault.  Used the wrong form. The correct form won’t be available until January 31.

Please click on California State Forms Availability periodically to check if your form is ready. TurboTax brings in the forms as fast as they become available wherever possible. Once the form is ready, when you open your program, it will have automatically updated. By re-running the Review, you will know if the form is updated.
