In the New York interview, go to "Take a look at New York credits and taxes" (this is from the desktop product but the Online flow ought to be similar).

2. Click on Start for Active Volunteer, well, you know where...you will see the net screen:

 

Fill this out and "Bob's your uncle" as the Canadians say.
