Question

How do I know my state return was filed. I had to pay VA taxes and did so after completing, but I can't see confirmation that the return was sent to VA?

You can check your efile status here

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

I used a credit card to pay for my VA State taxes due, but the only charge showing up in my cc online is the $25 fee to file electronically. How can I tell if the amount due in state taxes was charged to my credit card as well?
