Question

How do you fill out California "Other State Tax Credit"? All income PA sourced and taxed. CA resident for part of year and then became PA resident.

Income for the year was PA sourced. PA tax was paid on all income, even while a CA resident. Was a CA resident at the start of the year and paid tax on the income that was PA sourced. Then moved and changed residency to PA. Trying to fill out "Other State Tax Credit" for CA filing as I was taxed by CA and PA while I was still a CA resident.

In the "Income Taxed by CA and PA" section, do I fill in all income taxed by CA and then all income taxed by PA for the entire year?

And then in the following section "Income Tax Paid to PA", do you use all income tax paid to PA for the whole year or only while a resident in CA? Also the AGI Taxed by PA for whole year?

You will include the PA income for the time you worked while still a CA resident.  You will then have to enter the PA tax paid on that portion.  If your W2 has the breakdown, it is relatively easy.  If not, you can prorate using percentage of time in California to total Pennsylvania income and tax paid for the year.
