How many NJ tax returns can I e-file with TurboTax Deluxe?

The state returns are e-filed with the federal tax returns or after the federal return has been e-filed and accepted by the IRS, so the limit is the same, 5 e-files.

The state returns are filed with federal returns.  You cannot prepare and file a "stand alone" state return.  So... if you prepare and e-file five federal returns you can file a NJ return with each one if you need to.   A state return cannot be e-filed unless the federal return was e-filed successfully and accepted by the IRS.

 The five federal e-file limit is an IRS limit.  Additional returns can be filed by  mail.
