How to enter tax-exempt interest from multiple states automatically

I don't have the patience to compute and enter 50 numbers by hand.

    Unless you're filing returns for 50 different states... you just do the ones you are paying taxes to.  Subtract the amount relevant to your state(s) from the total and the rest goes under multiple.

    @terribleivan   Here's an example for a NC resident...be sure to break out any US territory $$ too.  The states don't tax that.
