How to generate IT-201-X with TurboTax (2022)?

I have amended my NYS tax return using TurboTax (2022) -- the amount taxes that I owe increased. However, when I went to final stages of the file the tax return in TurboTax, it did not find any changes and did not generate IT-201-X form.

My question is whether TurboTax can generate IT-201-X form for NYS tax return at all. If it does, how to make sure that TurboTax does it?

Yes, the program does amended returns when allowed by the state. Amended returns are being corrected across the country by the federal and state agencies. You can wait or you can print, correct and mail the form. If it is disaster related, you should wait for all the updates.
