How to handle being a part-year resident in California?

I moved from California out of the country during 2023. When I enter that I became a nonresident during 2023, the form says I am a nonresident, and fills in that I was a nonresident during the entire year of 2023 and is asking me what state I lived in during all of 2023. Shouldn't I be considered a part-year resident? How do I get TurboTax to realize that?
