Husbands company moved from Missouri to Kansas in April - how to file

I have worked as a Missouri resident all year and made additional tax payments to avoid owing anything. My husband's company moved from Missouri to Kansas in April and our current estimate for state taxes has us owing a considerable amount of in Missouri, which has never been the case before and really shouldn't be considering the extra money I put in this year. It is as if we are being taxed on all of my husband's income for Missouri state taxes, when he only worked in the state the first 4 months of 2019. Is there a way to fix this? Where can I put in that he only worked in Missouri for part of the year?

Missouri taxes its residents by what they earn, no matter where they earn it.

Kansas taxes income earned in the state, no matter where the worker lives.

You will be taxed by both states.

Missouri also gives a credit for taxes paid to another state, so be sure to work your Kansas state return first, that way TurboTax can apply the credit for the tax you pay to Kansas onto your Missouri return.
