I am a non-resident of NY State, and don't pay NY real estate tax. Why am I being asked for my homes fair market value?

Can you please provide more details as this is a public forum, nobody can see your returns and have no details of what section of the return you are on. The only area of NY would be if you entered a section related to a Real Property Tax Credit which you are not eligible for. Please elaborate
