Question

I am a resident of NC and worked as a nonresident in DC. I get a full refund for the DC taxes I paid. Do I add the DC taxes as a credit on my NC tax return?

TurboTax automatically added the taxes I paid as a nonresident from VA and PA income to my credits on my NC state tax return but didn’t include DC. Should that be included?

No, if you are getting a full refund of those taxes, you can't take a credit for them.
