Some users have reported that adding a space in the apartment number field enabled them to get around the error in the State return. Others entered "none" in the apartment field and it worked.
The problem seems to originate with an entry in the address field in the Federal return which carries over to the State. If you fix the Federal entry to delete the apartment, the state return still expects an entry.
Making an entry in the apartment field will allow you to file the state return; however, I will report this as an ongoing issue with the program.
