Question

I chose to get the advance in refund option and I never updated my banking information to the correct banking information now what?

If your return has the wrong banking information, and you have not Efiled yet, open your return and go through the Efile section again to change it.

 

If you have Efiled and your return is Rejected, you will be able to change it in this section and then Efile again with the correct bank info.

 

If you Efiled and your return is Accepted, the incorrect bank will not accept your refund from the IRS and send it back to them.  The IRS will then mail you a paper check.
