Question

I contributed to a VA 529 plan for grandchildren. I am not the plan holder. Can I deduct the amount contributed?

According to the research I found, the owner of the account on record may take the tax deduction for contributions made to the Virginia 529 plan.  However, it was mentioned that an account may have one or several owners.
