I didn't get my free state e-file for WI. TTax wants to charge me $25. How can I remedy this issue?

There is a lot of confusion about this. For the Desktop version it's a free download of one state PROGRAM, not returns filed. You can prepare unlimited federal and unlimited state returns. Some people need to file in more than one state so they have to buy another state program. You can print and mail the state for free or each state return including the first one is $20 early or 25 to efile.

This is the second time I bought the disk and have been charged to file my state return I thought the disk allows for one free state file. This is false advertisement. I want my money back.

Did you read the answer above? There is no free e-file for a state tax return using the desktop editions, never has been. There is nothing advertised that indicated you can e-file the state tax returns for free (except for New York state).

If you purchased the Deluxe desktop edition or higher you receive One Free state program software download included in the purchase price.

It absolutely is deceptive marketing when it simply states "includes one state" without a disclaimer that the e-file is extra. To a normal person "includes one state" means you don't have to pay an extra fee to file the state taxes and the charging extra to e-file is underhanded and dirty - users often aren't even told until their taxes are ALL DONE (they might have used the "start free", then gone through all that work not to realize they were going to be ripped off an extra $25 at the end after all their time has already been wasted so you kind of feel like you don't have a choice - either waste all that time (and pain) of filling out your taxes again, or, just bend over and get screwed by the fee.
