Question

I dont understand the unemployment part of the return. My 1099g doesn't have the boxes there asking for. What do I do.

Just enter the information as it’s displayed on your form to the relevant boxes in TurboTax, even if the box numbers are different.

Each state has its own version of Form 1099-G form, and sometimes the boxes don’t always match what you see in TurboTax.

It's also the case that some states use the same payer’s identification number for both Federal and State tax forms, and you can use the payer’s Federal ID number for both.
