Question

I filed my federal taxes on another site, but had to come here to file my part-year resident state taxes. Can I just file the state taxes?

No. The TurboTax state program is designed to transfer information from your federal return. For this reason, TurboTax state isn't sold as a standalone tax-preparation product.

You can't e-file your state return, but you can recreate your federal tax return and then print and mail your state return.  You will have to pay for the federal tax return in order to print the state return.
