I filed my NY state I got a letter from The tax department asking me to send them my W-2( my wages didn’t transfer to the state part) has this happened to anybody else

Has anybody gotten a refund paper check or DD even thought they say 30-90 days

States often do random checks on returns such as the letter you received asking for W2s. Just comply with their instructions.
