Question

I forgot to include the 529 contributions that I made in 2023 on my 2023 Virginia tax return. Can I report those contributions on my 2024 Virginia tax return?

    No. 2023 contributions have to be deducted on that return. You can amend that return.

    No, but you can amend your 2023 VA return.
