Solved

I gave a presentation in Las Vegas, Nevada for work in 2016. I received a 1099 for the $2500 I was paid. Do I need to say I made money in another state in 2016?

For Nevada, you do not need to as they have no state income tax.

Your resident state, will tax it however if they have income taxes.
