I have an LLC with my husband in CA. Its our first year. What forms should I file for my state return?

It depends on how your LLC was set up. 

 

If you chose to be taxed a a corporation or partnership then you will have to file a separate corporate or partnership return.

 

These entities will generate a Schedule K-1 that you can enter in your personal return. Schedule K-1s show your share of income, deductions and credits. Use TurboTax Business (entity) and TurboTax Premier or Self-Employed (personal)

 

If you did not choose to be taxed as a corporation or partnership, then you can use TurboTax Self-employed to prepare your return as a sole proprietor. You and your spouse are considered one owner and can elect to be treated as a single member LLC.

 

For state you will file a normal income tax return plus Form 568.
