I am now considered a hybrid worker and will be spending the summer in NH instead of KS.

If you are a Kansas resident, ALL your income is taxable by Kansas, regardless of where you earn it.  So the answer to your question is No.

You might want to reduce your Kansas withholding during the time you are working in another state.  If you are working in New Hampshire (NH), you will owe NH state income tax on the income you earn there.  As a Kansas resident, all of your income is subject to Kansas income tax, regardless of what state it was earned in.  Kansas will issue you a credit on your tax return for taxes you pay to NH; however, the credit may be less than the tax you pay to NH.

Thanks for the reply DavidD66;

There is no income tax for NH for regular W2 earnings.
