I live in GA but I work in SC. I have a W4 filled out for SC and GA with my company. I pay additional withholding to both states. Only SC shows up on my W2. As of right now, my income taxes show that SC owes me but that I owe GA taxes. But I cannot find anywhere on TurboTax or my W2 to account for the additional withholding being paid to GA.

To report the additional withholding:

  1. Go to Deductions and Credits.
  2. Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
  3. Go to Income taxes Paid
  4. Go to Other Income Taxes Paid in 2024
  5. Select Withholding not already entered on a W-2 or 1099
