If you went to Illinois for a temporary stay, you are a nonresident  of IL and don't need to file in those boxes.   If you are a full year resident of MN, but earned income out of state, you can prepare an IL nonresident return.   Uncheck that box and use the instructions below.

How do I file a nonresident state return?

Thanks for your response. I updated the boxes as recommended but the example provided on the software is quite different. I actually lived in Illinois for three months while doing an internship. This is the example provided by Turbotax:

You are a nonresident if you did not live in Illinois last year. You will do your taxes as an Illinois nonresident if you earned income in Illinois, but did not live there.

Example:

Joshua lives and works in California. He owns rental property in Illinois. Joshua will file a nonresident Illinois return because he earned income in Illinois last year, but did not live there.

I should add that I earned income while living in Illinois.
