Question

I live in NJ but worked in NYC. On my NJ state, It is saying box 16 cannot be zero if box 17 has $137. But… this is what my boxes say on my W2. What do I do to submit?

It is basically telling me that my W2 is incorrect as it is and I’m not sure what I should do.

Do you have more than one W-2 for that job? If the state income withholding in Box 17 is for NY, enter the income in Box 1 into Box 16.
