I live in WA but tt says I need to file a Rhode Island return: why?

None of my income sources mention Rhode Island so why am I required by TT to pay for and file a Rhode Island return?

Did you accidently say that you lived in another state when you first entered your personal information?

 

To edit your Personal Info in TurboTax:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Enter personal information in the Search box.  (or you can click on My info tab)
  3. Click on jump to personal information link.
  4. You can Edit your name, address, filing status, etc., on your Personal info summary page.
