I live in Washington and work for an Idaho company. How do I deduct the jobs worked in Washington from the taxes deducted for Idaho.

As a service technician I work on both sides of the state line. How do I deduct the money earned on Washington soil from my Idaho W-2 as my employer deducts Idaho taxes on all jobs.

You have to come up with a method to prorate (or allocate) the income. The method must be reasonable. If your employer has a record of your job tickets, you may be able to use that information to differentiate between the work in the two states. Document whatever method you do use, in case Idaho questions it.

But you are correct for allocating: Washington has no state tax, and as a Washington resident, you aren't taxed by Idaho for work you do in Washington.

Then why do your intuit-generated W-2's fail to make this allocation in the Box 16 when you have all the information to do so? We need that on our W-2's but our final payroll is 12/31/20, and you generate your W-2's on 1/1/21 (a national holiday) without allowing us to review and make corrections. How are the employees to know how to "allocate" their income?
