Question

I lived in NC for 6 months and then moved to Ohio. My place of employment, did not update my address. My W2 only show NC. Do I still have to file for Ohio?

Yes, you do have to file a tax return for Ohio.   You need to prepare part-year returns for each of the states you lived and worked in.   Make sure your employer is now withholding for OH and not NC.

@csfranczak And....since you are new to living in OH---you need to find out about the local tax(es)  you may be subject to.  Ohio has a complicated and confusing array of local and city taxes, including school tax districts, RITA, and CCA taxes, as well as certain towns and cities that have their own local tax.

TurboTax only prepares a few city or local tax returns as an extra step in your state return.  For most local tax returns you are on your own.  You may have to ask around amongst your neighbors, etc. to find out if you have a local tax and how to pay it. “Google “ local tax for your area.  Call your city government, etc.  Your only record of paying your local tax will be your own bank/credit card records

Yes, you do.  Ohio can tax all the income you earned after becoming a resident of Ohio.  You must file a part-year resident tax return for each of the two states.
