I lived in the UK in 2023. On 11/5/23 I moved to Illinois, but did not start working in Illinois until 1/5/24. Do I need to file a tax return in Illinois for 2023?

You will not file an Illinois return unless you had income from sources other than work during the time you were in the state in 2023.
