Question

I’m trying to file a W2 form and on box 15 it’s asking for my state. My state isn’t an option to choose from. How do I fix this?

If you left the state ID blank along with boxes 15 thru 17 blank and the program is giving you this error then you need to delete the W-2 and re-enter the W-2 manually and make sure you make no entry of any kind in boxes 15 thru 17.
