I'm trying to file my ky taxes and the website won't let me bypass the ohio taxes whixh don't need to file. How do I bypass the ohio tax page?
I live in ky and work in ohio.
In the personal info section, when it asks if you made money in another state, answer NO, per the reciprocal state instructions, on that page. This will prevent TurboTax from thinking you need to file an OH return.
Otherwise, you get a screen "We recommend E-filing your state return".
Your choices for both states are:
- E-file my state return now
- Do not E-file my state return now, I'll do it later
Choose I'll do it later for Ohio
