I moved from NJ to PA a few years ago and have no NJ income. I am a full year PA resident. TurboTax Premier continues to complete NJ. How do I delete the NJ return?

To delete your state return with TurboTax Online, follow the steps below:
- Launch TurboTax
- Select State and Continue
- Select Delete next to NJ and Yes.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, refer to the TurboTax article How do I clear my state return in the TurboTax for Windows software?
Review your personal information entries to make sure that you didn't enter that you lived in another state or made money in another state.
- Launch Turbo Tax and select My Info
- A Personal profile summary screen will pop up
- Select Edit by your name
- Scroll through the screens to ensure that you have the correct answers for your state of residence
- Scroll down to Other State Income and select Edit
- Check your answer for Did you make money in any other states? Make sure that you didn't indicate that you made money in NJ.
