Solved

I moved from North Carolina to Connecticut on December 15th of 2024, I haven’t had a job in Connecticut yet or any income from it. Should I change my state of residence?

Use the address where you want the IRS or NC to mail you a letter or a check.   Since you have not earned income in CT for the couple of weeks you were there in 2024, you do not have to file a 2024 CT return.  You have to file a federal return and a NC return.
