I moved from VA to NC in 2024 establishing residency in NC on 6/19/24. Turbotax is showing me as a nonresident for NC. How do I correct?

In the Personal Info section.....for yourself (and spouse?) did you indicate you were a resident of NC on 31 Dec 2024 (i.e. tomorrow)?    And then indicate you moved from VA on 6/19/2024?

IF not, go back to the personal info section and do so.

Also, if you are in the middle of the NC interview, don't mis-interpret some of the questions it asks....it does ask about any income you might have received from NC as a non-resident...i.e. BEFORE you became a resident of NC....like...some folks living in VA will work cross the border in NC before actually moving to NC...or might own a rental property or business in NC during the time they lived in  VA.
