Question

I moved from Washington State to Canada last January. Do I still need to file taxes through Washington this year or not?

I have dual citizenship as I was born in Canada and have an American parent. I didn’t earn any money in Washington last year.

No, you don't need to file a Washington State tax return.  Washington State does not have a personal or corporate income tax.  If you have a business in Washington State you are subject to a Business and Occupation Tax (B&O Tax).  You do need to file a federal tax return (Form 1040).
