If you feel you did not file your state returns correctly, but you have already transmitted them and filed them, you will have to wait until the return is accepted by the taxing agency.

If you have not filed your state return, you can go back into the interview section of the program from the black panel on the left and correct your state return.

Some states request that you wait a 4-6 weeks before filing an amended return. I have attached a link on how to contact the state agency so you can also confirm if they have a requesting time frame to wait before filing an amended return.
