Yes, you can delete a state in TurboTax.

 

In TurboTax Online:

  • From the left menu select State>
  • Continue>next to your state, click the Trash Can icon and follow through the rest of the questions ending with Done

In TurboTax CD/Download:

  • From the main menu, click File
  • Scroll down and select Remove a State
  • Follow the prompts in the window that opens and confirm the deletion
