Question

I need to fill out form TC-38 for SC solar energy tax credit. The form requires the current year tax liability to calculate the credit. But TurboTax will not show it.

I just need my current year tax liability, but I cannot find it anywhere in TurboTax. Do I just need to fill out the return by hand to figure it out?

You can find your current years South Carolina tax liability in TurboTax.

  • Click on Tax Tools in the left column
  • Click Tools
  • Select View Tax Summary in the center
  • Select SC Tax Summary in the left column
  • Your current year tax liability is Tax after credits
