    Make sure state taxes withheld from your W-2 and 1099 forms are entered correctly. Your refund might be less than what you expected if:

    • Your income increased in 2024 but you didn't adjust your withholding.
    • You got a second job
    • Didn't qualify for a credit that was allowed in previous years

    I recommend that you do a line by line comparison with last year's return to see what have changed.
