I spent all of 2023 and the majority of 2024 employed and living in MO, but moved back to NY late in the year. All 2024 income was from MO. Where do I file as a resident?

A. Technically, neither. You should file a part year resident return for both states.
If you had absolutely no income (e.g. interest on a savings account), after arriving in NY, you could probably get by filing only a MO resident return, as no tax will be due to NY, if you had no NY income. "NY income" is anything received will you were a NY resident, no matter where it came from.
In the Personal Info section of TT, enter your State of Residence as NY, and indicate that you also lived in MO. This will prompt the program to generate the appropriate tax forms for each state.
