I was charged for state tax and now program wants to charge again.

    Which version of TurboTax are you using?

    Are you referring to a charge for a state download or the e-file fee for your state return?

    Is there a download charge for a tax with 2 state taxes? I was charged a download fee and and efile fee.

    If you are using desktop software, there is a fee for downloading a second state and a separate fee for e-filing each state.  If you print it out and mail it, there's no fee for that.
